These words represent my life based on the initials of my children. They are my greatest achievement; they remind me of what's important and I have them to thank for making me a better person. Allyssa~ Ryan~ Ian~ Samantha

Welcome to ARIS
ARIS is a place to step away from the busyness of our daily lives and focus on our physical and mental wellbeing. ARIS is a place where you know that you will always feel better walking out of our studio than you did when you walked in. ARIS is a place where we come together as students to practice. Progress not perfection. Connection not competition.
The Air We Breathe
Ensuring you are always breathing fresh air is a top priority for us at ARIS. Our heating system consists of a brand-new furnace and ductwork, air purifier, steam humidifier and made in the US infrared heat panels. We did not stop there. We have also installed a system to continuously take the stale air out and bring fresh air into our studio.

Who Should Try Hot YogaHot yoga classes are open to everybody. New forms of exercise are a great way to keep you motivated. If you have any health concerns, it's best to talk to your healthcare provider before you try any new exercise program. Starting something or somewhere new can feel intimidating and overwhelming. Everyone is welcome here and there is no judgement, we focus on the 4 corners of our mat. Here are some tips to help you on your new journey.
-
To Eat or Not to EatEat something light 2 hours before class, a piece of fruit, toast, maybe some nuts.
-
What Time to ArrivePlease arrive 10-15 minutes prior to class to get checked in and settled on your mat. To allow everyone to get the most out of their class, we have a strict late policy. We don’t want anyone to miss their class, but we also do not want to disrupt practice once it’s started. Class starts on time, and no one is allowed in the studio once the class has started, and the doors are locked.
-
What to WearWear form fitting clothes that move freely with you- something that breathes and wicks moisture. Please avoid wearing heavy perfumes/colognes, essential oils and lotions in the studio. It is important to be mindful that these scents can become overpowering in the heat.
-
Always Come to Class HYDRATEDIt is important that you come to class properly hydrated, it’s recommended that you drink at least 20 ounces of water a few hours before. You want to be hydrated but not have a stomach full of fluids sloshing around. Sip as needed during class and after class rehydrate, we always recommend an electrolyte after class.
-
What to BringThings you should bring into the studio for class: Yoga Mat, Yoga towel that covers your mat, we highly recommend a towel made for hot yoga and a water bottle. Optional – hand towel. Leave your other belongings, including phone and keys in the lobby, the doors are locked during class for your safety and the safety of your belongings.
-
The Mirrors Are Your FriendIf it’s your first time in the studio, you might shy away from being front and center and that is ok. The mirrors help you find your Drishti, place of concentration, and check your alignment.
-
Find StillnessTry to avoid fidgeting in between postures, find stillness to balance effort with rest. Connect with your breath and you’ll develop focus, discipline and clarity in your yoga practice.
-
Sweat is Your New Favorite AccessorySweat it all out and wear it proudly. Sweat is your body’s natural cooling system. Wiping sweat away will not only disrupt your practice, but it will also encourage more sweat which can lead to dehydration.
-
Breathe In and Out of Your NOSEApart from breathing exercises where you are guided to breathe out of your mouth, breathe in and out through the nose. This will help you stay calm, focused and in control.
-
Enjoy the SilenceThe hot room is a quiet space. Meditation is a vital part of the yoga series. Many of us use these 5-10 minutes before class to settle in. A time to allow our body and minds to melt into our mat as we adjust to the heat before the class starts. We want you to get to know each other but ask that you please keep conversations in the lobby.
-
Challenge Yourself but Don’t Push Yourself Too HardPace yourself, this isn’t a race or a competition. What we did yesterday we might not be able to do today and what we do today we might not be able to do tomorrow or vice versa! Each day, each side, each body is different. Allow yourself time to explore how your body is feeling today. Find your edge and gradually challenge yourself a little bit more.
-
ALWAYS STAY FOR SAVASANAI cannot stress this enough. When you feel class winding down, don’t head for the door. This is the part of the class that you have been working towards. Everything you worked so hard for up to this point has prepared you for this resting posture.
-
AmenitiesLobby- This is where you will take off your shoes, check in for your class, store your belongings in cubbies or coat hooks and grab any props needed for class. Front door is locked when class begins. Studio- This space is designated to your practice, come in and out quietly. Restroom - We have a restroom in the back but we do not have showers. It is recommended that you do not shower for at least 15 minutes after any intense exercise to allow your body to cool naturally.
